Mo Clancy, Founder & CEO
Mo Clancy is known as a serial entrepreneur always with a knack for discovering emerging social movements. A former trend watcher and cultural futurist, Mo Clancy co-founded the first influencer marketing company in the US, Ammo Marketing. Today, Ammo Marketing is considered the pioneer of word of mouth marketing, a popular method of reaching consumer influencers. Ammo Marketing was named the fastest growing US marketing agency by Adweek, served a roster of Fortune 500 clients including Levi’s, Nike & Pepsi UK and its case studies are taught in the marketing curriculums of colleges such as Northwestern University. Ammo was acquired by the Isobar group.
In 2004, Mo co-founded Thread Group, LLC (now Hatch Beauty), a company focused on product, packaging and brand development for the beauty industry. Clients included CVS, Morgans Hotel Group, and Kate Sommerville. In 2007, Mo founded Nomade Exquis, a limited edition line of artisanal hand crafted and vintage accessories that were sold to celebrities, stylists and tastemakers such as Mandy Moore and Kate Hudson. Most recently, her vintage jewelry curations were sold at Barneys in New York, Chicago, Boston, Dallas and Los Angeles.
Mo is also a writer & was recently featured in the anthology, The Moment, published by Harper. Mo has been featured in media such as Fortune, San Francisco Business Times, Elle, Daily Candy, Angeleno, C Magazine, SF Chronicle, 7×7 and Style.com. She was named by Origin Magazine (co-founded by DJ Spooky and the CEO of Whole Foods) as one of the top 100 people changing the world.

Lauren Godfrey brings to Seed + Salt her 15 years of experience as an award winning advertising creative director & art director coupled with her culinary arts degree and professional cooking experience.
Lauren’s professional offerings include design consulation, food styling, recipe testing and development, content development and writing. Lauren has been featured in Wired, San Francisco Magazine, style.com, Refinery29 and Mother. She loves working in the kitchen and spent time as an extern at SPQR, a stage at Chex Panisse and has an ongoing gig at Bar Tartine. Lauren also writes, photographs and develops recipes for her gluten-free and vegan blog, wegolden.com.
